The first Chromatec gas chromatograph in Greece has been successfully installed and is already operating in the analytical laboratory at Motor Oil Hellas Corinth Refineries!
The model Crystal 9000 Chromatec is designed & configured as a Refinery Gas Analyzer according to the UOP 539 method (ASTM). In just 20 minutes with He as carrier gas (only 12 minutes with H2 as carrier), it determines the Refinery Gas stream or the LPG composition. Thanks to the dedicated built-in Gas Application all the sample gas properties, like calorific values, density, relative density and Wobble indices are automatically calculated and reported after the quantitative analysis completion, according to the ISO 6976 standard.
The GC analyzer is equipped with 1 flame ionization detector (FID), 2 thermal conductivity detectors (TCD), 5 gas sampling-backflash valves, 6 packed analytical columns and the design and quality of the system allows the routine analysis of H2S in high concentrations, without affecting the analytical columns and TCD filaments in extremely long term use. All the parts and supplies, including the software, are completely designed and manufactured internally the Chromatec organization.
The system price is almost the half compared to competitive instruments while the superb quality is assured by the long history, know-how and reputation of the manufacturer Chromatec, the leading supplier of GC and GC-MS systems in the Federation of Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent Countries, controlling more than 70% of the market in this area.
